FORD WARRANTY

New Ford replacement parts and accessories (excluding tyres and Supplier Branded Accessories) are covered by the Ford Express Parts and Accessories Warranty:

  • Batteries: Covered by up to a 36-month national warranty from the date of original retail sale. For full details, please refer to the Battery Warranty & Battery Testing Procedure.
  • All other parts/accessories: Covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of original retail sale, or up to 20,000 km of use (whichever occurs first).
  • Engines: Covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of original retail sale, or up to 20,000 km of use (whichever occurs first). Fuel injectors fitted in new engines must be new or reconditioned and tested for compliance.
  • Supplier Branded Accessories: These are not manufactured or warranted by Ford. Any warranty is provided by the third-party manufacturer.
  • Ford Licensed Accessories:
    • If purchased and fitted by an authorised Ford Dealer after vehicle delivery, they are covered by either the remaining Ford New Vehicle Warranty or the Ford Express Parts and Accessories Warranty (whichever is greater).
    • If purchased and installed by a third party (not a Ford Dealer), they are covered by the 12-month / 20,000 km Ford Express Parts and Accessories Warranty from the date of purchase.

Proof of purchase is required for all Ford Parts Warranty claims.

Ford warranties are provided in addition to any rights and remedies under applicable Commonwealth, State, or Territory legislation.

1. Return to Jefferson Ford
Return the part to Jefferson Ford, and we will submit a parts-only warranty claim on your behalf. If approved by Ford, the customer will receive a replacement part or a refund for the part cost only (labour for removal and refit is not covered). Please allow up to 45 days for Ford to assess and approve the claim.

2. Visit a Ford Dealer
Take your vehicle to any authorised Ford Dealer in Australia. The dealer will manage the full warranty process, including removal and refitting of the faulty part. Proof of purchase and a fitment invoice must be provided. The part must have been installed by a qualified automotive workshop following correct procedures, and a fitment invoice is required to support the claim.
